The Armorer
50 years and going strong
Our Chief Armorer, gunsmith, and designer, Rex Johnson, has been a reloader, shooter, and hunter for over 50 years, making customized long guns (rifles and shotguns) since 1975,. In 1976 he was the Nebraska State High School Trap Shooting Champion in Class D.
While plying a primary trade in IT as a Systems Programmer, Engineer, Architect and Executive, he always kept building custom long guns, tuning them for accuracy to the delight of dozens of clients,
Applying his problem solving skills, Rex improves barrel performance, accurizes stocks, and ensures the most efficient, effective, and comfortable fit for your firearm.

Refusal Of Service
Armory Rex reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, anytime, for any reason. At our discretion, such refusal may be for for specific products or services only, or may be all-inclusive.
Credit/Debit/Electronic Payments
Effective 4/1/2020 all Credit/Debit/Electronic payments will include a 3.5% convenience fee.
Regulatory Compliance
Armory Rex complies with all applicable governing Federal, State, and Local laws and regulation. Contact Us to report any perceived violations for complete and timely resolution.
Suspicious Activity
Any suspicious behavior with respect to firearms will be reported to BATF and the applicable Federal, State, or Local Law Enforcement jurisdiction for investigation and resolution
United States Only - No Export
Armory Rex only engages in business with entities that have a legal address in the United States. Shipping, if required, must be within the boundaries of United States. APO, FPO not supported.
Trigger Modifications
Armory Rex only supports the installation of aftermarket precision trigger hardware. We do not engage in "trigger jobs" with direct modification of factory triggers due to safety and liability concerns. Modifications of trigger mechanisms to full automatic fire is illegal and not supported.
Braced / Stocked Pistols
Armory Rex does not accept for work or build pistols, of any vintage or design with braces or shoulder stocks. These pieces create rifles that are in violation of the NFA legal limit of 16" barrels.
Statement of Liability
Every Armory Rex customer will review and sign a Statement of Liability agreement yearly for exchange of products and services. The form may be downloaded here, signed, and returned to be kept on file.
